La Trobe University International College was established in 2007 when the Language Centre (est. 1974) merged with the Foundation Studies and Diploma Programs unit (est. 1995). It is a privately owned educational institution based at Bundoora in the city of Melbourne. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, English and foundation studies programs in several disciplines of study. Some of the subject areas in which these programs are offered are business English, business administration, information systems, humanities, social sciences, education studies, health sciences, science, technology and engineering.
