I have to say I had the best study experience in Australia. Even though I studied there for a year during my final year of studies, I experienced a lot. I enjoy visiting and traveling around Adelaide and Australia. I enjoy the difference of culture. Not to mention, the food here. It is just fantastic. UniSA is a university of choice, students can learn a lot here. It's good because there are not much distractions that will draw students away from studying.
It was all right. The process from getting my application submitted, to getting it approved as well as getting other things done is smooth. I had help from the uni I was studying in Malaysia. I did not come here on my first year, I transferred to Adelaide during my final year. It is always a good choice to depend on the uni that you are studying to deal with the transferring process. It saves time and effort.
There are scholarship and funding opportunities available, but they don't normally offer it to students with average results. I am one of them. I finished my final year in Adelaide supported by my family. It's either students can try to work hard to get good results in order to be eligible to apply for scholarships, or they can try applying loan.
My course is about how Public Relations help to communicate the objective and messages in a company/organization. It's about relationship building and achieving certain goals through in depth strategy and tactics planning. I study for an hour every day after class. Overall, I attended 15hours of class per week. Some are really helpful. They are willing to help students that are hardworking. I love this course and it's value for money.
My university facilities are great. It's just that I can't find much of PR books that I can refer to. It is one of the area that the uni can improve. Adelaide is a place that is suitable for studying, especially for students like me that is looking for peaceful and harmonious relation with the nature. I like the place I stayed, it's value for money. Yes, it's possible. But many students decided not to work, so that they can concentrate more in their studies. There are clubs for international students, but I did not join any.
Yeah. It has helped me to find jobs and secure one. Bachelor in Public Relations allow students to work in many job fields such as the tourism sector, hotel industry, PR firms, companies etc. I do keep in touch with my fellow alumni. I am not sure about there is alumni association to join. I am currently working in a golf club based in Kuala Lumpur.
